COME PLAY WITH ME!
Wow! It was a BUSY summer. My "free" time has been busy with travel and time with family and friends (San Diego, Toronto, Montreal, Raleigh, Daytona Beach), and several art shows in Orlando, FL and Greensboro, NC. I can hardly believe it's October 1st!
Though my work consulting, writing, and providing education in and about the massage and spa industry is still my main gig, art has is most definitely a huge influence in my life. Similar to being an entrepreneur, something I love about being an artist is how I'm constantly learning. I'm always expanding my knowledge and stretching my creativity ways.
Example: recently, a piece I made last winter (see below) during an online residency transformed into something new - an interactive abstract art puzzle. When I had began this project back in February, I had no idea how they would exactly evolve. But after a lot of brainstorming and researching, it and several other pieces are part of the"Squared Away" show at Marshall Muse Gallery in Greensboro, NC through the end of October. So fun!
Also, because of the wonderful collaborations I've already experienced at Marshall Muse, I'm going to be offering some new, fun events there over the next few months. If you are in the central NC area, I hope you'll come play with me at to one or more of them!
10/10/26 (Saturday) - FREE ART DEMO - 12 PM to 2 PM - How does a mannequin transform from a clothing display into a work of art? Join me as I reveal my process behind turning former display mannequin torsos into the fun, colorful, contemporary 3- dimensional paintings I adoringly call my "Love Army." 11/15/26 (Sunday) - ABSTRACT MINIS CLASS - 1 PM to 3 PM - Good things come in small packages, including art! Join me for an "art-torial" on how to create tiny abstract paintings perfect for display on a table, fridge or window ledge.
DATE TBA - ART-FIRMATIONS - TIIME TBA - This class will combine the transformational power of guided meditation, positive affirmations, and intuitive art. You'll learn new tools and practices for releasing limiting beliefs and shifting your mindset to move towards your desired goals and outcomes.
