I am a sun lover. Though I do not spend hours laying on the beach or by the pool, I take every opportunity possible to be outside. Several months ago, I accidentally ran over a few pots of geraniums. It's an embarrassing story but suffice it to say that the flowers and their containers sacrificed themselves to protect me and my car from getting seriously damaged. A few days ago, I had a doctor's appointment. Although I was a bit early, the check-in process took a while due to the requisite paperwork and insurance updates. While I was musing about trying to arrive earlier next time, an older woman I'll call Jane, came in obviously flustered. Before Jane checked in, she immediately asked the receptionist if their phone system was down. Jane said she'd been trying to call the office for hour and kept getting an error message. Turns out i
